In our Strength & Conditioning program, our Trainers will assist you in carrying out various exercises that aim to improve overall athletic performance, as well as prevent injuries from occurring. These exercises help to increase stability, coordination, mobility, strength, agility, endurance, and speed. This kind of training can also help to strengthen bones and muscles, improve posture, increase metabolism, and improve your overall health.

Firstly, your Trainer or Coach will discuss your goals and needs and then take you through a Functional Movement and Postural Assessment. From here, we create an exercise program tailored to you. We can also advise on lifestyle modifications to help you reach these goals and maintain good health.

APF Massage Therapy provides massage therapy options for every type of client - from young athletes and the elderly to everyone in between. Our Massage Therapists are well-equipped with the tools and knowledge to provide a high-quality service tailored to your needs.

What type of massage is suitable for you?

A massage is the systematic manipulation of the body’s soft tissues with the intention of having a curative effect. Soft tissues are made more pliable through massage, promoting circulation and blood flow and bringing about healing effects - both physical and psychological changes for general wellbeing. 

Remedial

Works to heat the muscles and tendons that are damaged, impaired or knotted. It holistically treats the whole body, and traces the discomfort back to the original cause. It uses specialised techniques to support and speed up the body's on repair mechanisms. The massage is applied directly to the skin with an oil lubricant. Passive stretches are also employed by your Therapist.

Swedish

A gentle type of full-body massage which is ideal for people who are new to massage, have a lot of tension, and/or are sensitive to touch. It can help reduce knots in the muscles and it's a good choice if you want to completely relax during the massage. 

Swedish

Deep Tissue

Uses more pressure than the Swedish Massage. It's a good option if you have chronic muscle problems such as soreness, injury or imbalances. It can help relieve tight muscles, chronic muscle soreness and anxiety. 

Sports 

Is a good choice if you have a repetitive injury to a muscle. It's also a good option if you're injury prone or if you want to improve flexibility or even performance. A Sports Massage can also be used to relieve pain and/or anxiety, and can be performed on a certain muscle/group or the entire body.

We also provide assistance to people who simply want to improve their overall health and fitness. Our Trainers and Coaches assess individuals and then create tailored exercise programs that fulfil the individual’s goals and needs, aimed to help them in maintaining good health. We are able to advise on lifestyle modifications that should improve overall health, as well as to conduct workplace assessments. Best of all these services are completely virtual which mean we can provide these services worldwide!

As an alternative to in-person Personal Training, APF also offers an online coaching option, providing clients with tailored exercise programs they can follow no matter where in the world they are located.

Our Trainers and Coaches are able to provide assistance to anyone who aims to improve their fitness and overall health.
